We are talking about marketers who believe that going bigger is always the right path to marketing. This means that they get bigger everything for their clients and prospects. They go out of their way to put out bigger amounts of ads thinking that they can get more leads for their business. One thing’s for sure though, these marketers never consider the impact of their efforts.
“Mine is bigger” does not always get the results you need. More often than not, businesses which promote bigger emails, bigger number of links, bigger number of website browsers, bigger PR events and gimmicks, etc. etc. – these businesses usually have the same outcome no matter that they market bigger. On the wrong assumption that they can increase their sales or their market share if they happen to push the idea that ‘bigger is better’.
Sure, this route may get you some results. But the thing is that you do not consider the downside of the effort.
For one thing, pushing for a bigger database for example can only have you end up with thousands of consumers who do not even care about you or your offer. You are only wasting your time trying to catch these people who really do not know or care whatever you say. If you market this big, you will end up being a nuisance to these people who have better things to do than to listen to your sales pitch or even look at the sticker printing you have.
Marketing bigger can also mean a following that would not even buy your product or service. They are just there to collect your sticker printing for example, without any intention of buying anything from your product list.
Bigger events and PR gimmicks is also another challenge. Not only do these events require massive effort from you, but more than anything else, you need to expend so much of your financial resources. And you know what? You will not even have the results you want to increase your sales. It is like shooting in the dark and hoping that you catch whatever or whoever you are trying to catch.
The bottom line is to not be overexcited about quantity. Sure, you may get attention when so many of your sticker printing for example is out there. But you also have to consider the quality of your ads. You may have attracted the interest of your prospects but what would make them want to stay and read more of your message is what you have to offer in terms of quality.
When you have quality ads, it would be easier for you to attract more of the right customers – those who are interested in what you have to offer and have the capacity to buy your products and services. It is better to have leads that are ready to open their wallets and buy your products, than thousands of people who happen to read your message but are never going to do anything about it.

What Are You Willing To Risk?
Not all successful people grew up with silver spoons in their mouths. Most of them worked hard to get to where they are right now. What makes these very successful people different from your average Joes are their vision and determination. These are two important and indispensable traits of highly successful people.
Early on, these people decide that they want to be more than what they were at that time. This determination made them look for ways to get out of their quagmire. They looked for people who could give their careers or businesses a boost. They surrounded themselves with people who knew things that they did not know. They dined with them; they played with them; they sent them greeting cards to build on their relationship.
These partners were willing to take a risk with them, and together they ventured and succeeded in developing new businesses. Yes, there were failures; but the obstacles proved that their resilience was unmatched. This willingness to take a risk has helped these people achieve an astounding degree of success.
In today’s receding economy, there are millions of people looking for "something else" in their lives. For those whose employers have let them go, it is re-inventing themselves. For others who are still employed, it is being able to keep up with the ever growing demands of the job, while making ends meet at home.
During these troubled times, it is risky to do something different. But if you want to achieve something remarkable, one has to make some calculated risk. As the saying goes in the stock market, the best time to buy is when there is no one buying. Calculated risks are risks that have been studied, looked at from all different angles, and then acted upon swiftly once the information is in.
With a good assessment of things and a thorough analysis of the risks, you can come up with better judgment. These times offer opportunities, few people realize that. As the Chinese would say, a disaster is also an opportunity for development. The present situation is indeed disastrous if viewed from a pessimist’s point of view; but if viewed from a good vantage point, they are opportunities for growth.
Now that you know that there is indeed an opportunity in these trying times, why do not you go ahead and think about the risks you are willing to take. Then go and seek out people whom you think can help you. What are you waiting for? Place an online order for a box of custom greeting cards. Who knows? Bill Gates might be interested in your proposal.

Mistakes To Avoid In A Graphic Design Business
There are so many graphic designers out there but only a few can really say that they are successful in what they do. A lot are still struggling to have the clients they need to grow their business. Even with years of being graphic designers, just a few can really say that they are getting bigger and better.
So what is the problem for those who cannot make the cut? For many designers, failing to get their business off the ground comes from three major mistakes made by them. If you are a budding graphic designer, it would be to your benefit if you know these important mistakes so you can avoid doing it. And for those already in the industry for quite some time now, this would be good time for you to reassess your strategy and include these mistakes in the things that you should NOT do.
Quoting Too Soon!
This is a total turn off for many customers and prospects. Before you could even propose to them your rate, you should be able to make them see your value first. When prospects ask you how you work, they are not asking for your rate so stop yourself from quoting it. What they really want to know is the quality of your work and if your type of service fit what they are looking for. For example, if you are a brochure printing designer, never tell your rate before your prospect could even see whether they would let you start printing brochures for them. It is all about your worth to them first. When they are clear about your capacity to provide them what they need, then you can bargain for your value without any challenge.
Follow-up!
Many opportunities to design have been lost just because a graphic designer failed to follow up. Do not let other graphic artists steal your clients right under your nose. Be ready to follow up after the initial consultation. And if ever there is a reason you cannot make the deadline you have provided, make sure that you let your clients know so they will not be left hanging. And this goes also when you make the proposal. You have to follow up on it after a day or two. The bottom line is to stay connected with your clients from the initial meeting up to the very end that you will hand them the final output. This would ensure the feeling of security and assurance from your clients that you are looking after their needs and wants.
Continue Marketing!
Do not stop marketing just because you have enough customers right now. Even if business is at its peak, it does not mean that you have to stop marketing altogether. It is very important to market everyday and regularly. You have to think about the time when all your customers’ requirements would be finished. You need to have a steady supply of clients and customers to be able to sustain your business.
Learning to profit from your business comes from knowing the mistakes that you make and avoiding them. It will require focus and effort on your part to fix the problems. But when you are able to do so, you can have a practice that not only works but can send in a lot of opportunities for you to grow your business.

How Do You Attract Customers To Your Business?
One thing is sure when you are in business; you do not stop hunting for new clients and prospects. Even when business is doing great, you still have to look for and attract new customers so you can ensure that your business keeps on growing. If not, then you might end up losing your customer base, which can lead to your losing your business altogether.
That is why it is very important that you market regularly. Marketing should not stop when you have a solid client base; it should not stop when business is doing very well; and it should never stop even when the economy is down and everybody’s curbing their spending activities. You got to attract customers at all times.
But we know for a fact that targeting and attracting customers is a very difficult job. Not only are you introducing your business to your target audience, but more importantly, you are trying to convince them to do business with you. This then means that you have to show them you are different and that you are exactly what they are looking for.
To help you with your marketing efforts, here are effective strategies so you can target and attract customers to your business:
1. Find out what they are looking for.
Bear in mind that it is all about them; your customers. It is all about what they need and want. If you want to attract as many customers and clients to your business, you have to learn to give them what they are looking for. Look at market trends; study what products and services sell the most. And also find out what problems have yet to be solved by other companies. By doing so, you will be able to position yourself to show your target clients in your ads such as your catalog printing or print catalogs that you can provide them something that has not been provided by any business in the market.
2. Your client’s money is important to them.
You have to learn that money does not grow on trees. They are earned with hard work and sweat. That is why your target clients would not part with it that easily. Unless you are able to convince them that what you provide are excellent quality products and services, only then will they trust you with their hard-earned cash.
3. Consider the demographics.
Market to the right people with the right message. Determine who would be most interested in your offer, as well as who would have the most capacity to buy your product or service. You do not go wasting your time and effort trying to advertise to just about everybody. If you target carefully, you can attract the right people who would surely be able to act on your offer right away.
4. Be different.
Make your marketing campaign – be it catalog printing or print catalogs, or even hang tags – a stand out. Give your target clients a reason to become curious about your marketing campaign; enough that they would want to go over what you are trying to convey to them. Your design and style will help you become distinct to attract the attention of your target audience.
Targeting and attracting customers is not impossible although it is hard work indeed. By considering who is most likely to engage in business with you, you can very well provide yourself with a solid and strong customer base that can provide you with a robust business.

Essentials Of Marketing With Posters
What poster marketing is good at is it helps you reach out to a much larger audience in one of the most inexpensive ways, as well as in the shortest amount of time. Depending on the elements you integrate in your poster printing, your marketing campaign can very well be the most effective one for your business. As each element in your design in your posters, even if it is cheap poster printing, is significant, every one of them needs to have a part in ensuring that you get results the way you expect.
To further help you create a better poster marketing campaign; here are some of the tried-and-tested marketing strategies for your poster printing: Do your research. Never allow yourself to be caught unprepared and unqualified to share information not only about your product but more importantly, your target audience. This means knowing full well how to develop your cheap poster printing to focus on who your target clients are. What do they want? How do they feel about the products available in the market? Where do they go when they need solutions to their problems? What issues have not been met yet in the present market? What motivates them? What can you offer your target audience in the way of benefits? Where can you contact them? How can you reach out to them? You need to do your research in order for you to have the right answers to these questions. A well-planned and well-thought of poster design can have more positive impact to its audience. Know what you want. You have to be certain of what you expect from your target audience when you send your message their way. Tell them how they can get your benefits. What should they do to be able to get advantage of your offer? A marketing poster concentrated on the business aspect should always be able to convince and encourage its audience to make a purchase by its call-to-action: give you a call, visit a website, contact your sales representative, or visit your shop. Consider a personal impact that strives for individuality. As you think about your target clients, also consider that each of your prospect view your poster ad in a certain way. Bear in mind that the impact of your message also depends on the perspective of the person looking at it. Although there may be a group of people viewing it at one time, each individual in that group will have a personal opinion on what you have for your message. There are still many more approaches you can apply to your own poster printing. But one thing is for sure; great poster marketing will always yield for you a strong return to your investments
Shaking The Foundations Of Business Card Printing
Are you tired of stuffed up, formal and uninteresting

business cards?
Do not worry you are not alone. Business card printing today is moving beyond its formal and often boring foundations and moving on to better and more creative designs. It is only natural for color business cards to represent the energy of creativity and innovation of our age. If you want to adopt this kind of philosophy in your color business cards, below are a few tips that should shake the foundations of your business card printing for the better. Using non-standard sizes One of the many supposed immovable facts about business cards is its dimension. Look at most business cards today and you should discover that most follow supposed national and international conventions in business card dimensions. However, in today’s world, people can be quite flexible with this. In fact, most people do not even notice if a business card is using the right dimensions or not. So try and break the rules and use non-standard sizes and dimensions. If you choose a particularly different setting, people will notice your business cards among the rest. Being loud and flashy In the past, a full color business card that was loud and flashy was considered an amateur one. They said that only amateurs tried to be loud and flashy to compensate for their lack of experience. One thing that wasn’t thrown in with this argument though was that the loud and flashy business cards were often remembered because of their nature. In today’s world, being loud and flashy is the name of the game to be memorable. You have to be remembered by people and being loud and flashy with your business card designs is the quickest path. So let loose your imagination when it comes to business card designs. Using unusual materials While paper is still the most recommended material for use in most business cards, you should know that it is possible to change this and use other types. Materials like plastic, rubber, wood and metal are now being used by some businessmen as promotional business cards, trying to advertise their products. It is an unusual approach that is now slowly getting accepted. Using unusual shapes The standard rectangular shape of a business card can also be changed for a more interesting effect. With advances in cutting and printing, you can now have the most unique business card in your field by using different shapes and forms. From rectangular business cards, you can go for square ones, or circle ones to keep it interesting. You can even use shapes that look like your products for that extra advertising effect. Printing more information In terms of business card layouts, it was often believed that you only need to place your standard contact information. Today however, people are adding all sorts of other information in their custom business cards. Sometimes they add their favorite quotation. Others put in advertisements about their products. This adds more functions to the business card making it more than just for business networking. So that is how you shake the foundations of traditional business card printing. These ideas are quite simple, but they should make your business cards quite unique and creative. You should definitely try doing them.
